Just a change of clothes (if desired), any required medication (with completed forms), and optionally a water bottle. We provide all snacks, drinks, and activity materials.

We are an inclusive setting and welcome children of all abilities and diverse backgrounds. Please let us know about any specific needs so we can work with you to provide the right support.

Yes! We provide a healthy snack and fresh fruit at every session. We cater to dietary needs – just let us know in advance.

We coordinate with local providers to offer minibus services and supervised walking buses from select schools. We’ll help you find the best option for your child.

Absolutely. Parents and carers are welcome to visit and stay for a few minutes to help their child settle in.

Children should stay home if they’re unwell. For sickness or diarrhoea, we ask for 48 hours clear of symptoms before returning.

We use a positive, trauma-informed approach focused on respect, empathy, and collaboration. Children help create their own group charter each year.

You can speak to a staff member at drop off or pick up, or contact us by email at enquire@thriveeastlothian.co.uk or phone us on 01620 708 887
